Five men under suspicion of committing financial crimes in Panama City mysteriously disappear, leaving behind only one clue. A forensic clue so bizarre it compels CIA officer Kass Cosgrove to undertake a treacherous mission in pursuit of the strange-looking men her surveillance team code-named the Brothers.

Sailing solo into the most remote parts of the South Pacific, she discovers the unexpected truth on a desert island. Her shocking revelation plunges the world into chaos and political upheaval, leading to a U.S. military coup and triggering a nuclear war.

With the planet still reeling from these disastrous events, there is more somber news. The war ignited extinction-level global warming. Now, only Kass can convince a shadowy covert power to use their advanced technology to save Earth. If she fails, nine billion people will die.
